The cranial bones form the cranial cavity which lodges the brain with its meninges, vessels and essential organ of hearing.
They are named as follows –
- Parietal bone
- Interparietal bone
- Occipital bone
- Sphenoid bone
- Ethmoid bone
- Temporal bone
- Frontal bone
Occipital, sphenoid, ethmoid are unpaired bones of Cranium.
